This one is probably out of order but the idea came to me while i was doodling, I wanted to explain Hector's past in a kind of flashback and explain why an elf would be in the Overlord's service.
This was an interesting little tangent because Hector is usually rather short with words and his "i really am fed up with this" attitude. He actually has a fairly sentimental side when it comes to Tiber. 300 years later and the memory of her loss still hurts.
(edited commentary)
Once again all the more reason Hector resents his sister. While not actively suicidal (if you don't count trying to constantly drink himself to death) he also doesn't fear death. He tends to distance himself from other people and tries not to get attached, the loss of Tiber, especially at her saving his life when he didn't want to continue living, struck him hard.
