Well, here it is, April once again. And that means "National Poetry Month" - which, in turn, means it's time for the first in a new series of my "EFF Limericks" for 2013.
(For the uninitiated, a limerick is a five-line verse, in which the first, second, and fifth lines all rhyme with one word, while the third and fourth lines are shorter and rhyme with a completely different word. And, in my particular instance, these limericks pertain to various 'fat furry' characters - seen in their own "Fur Affinity" sites.)
I thought I'd start this new series with a corpulent character who's a departure from the usual bears, foxes, wolves, skunks, and kangaroos. In this case, I'd chosen
Kheylev the camel-taur, who has already been rendered by other anthroartists such as
Waffles85,
Jon, and (of course)
Vincent (which is the primary account for characters like Kheylev).
Besides the obligatory limerick, I paired the camel-taur with my bobcat 'fursona', who offers an opinion to 'Kheylev' (following his consumption of numerous cooler-sized bottles of water). So, I hope all of you enjoy this initial offering.
And be sure to return to my "Fur Affinity" site throughout April for more of my "EFF Limerick" comic gags (with additional guest appearances by other 'fat furry' characters). You won't be disappointed!
