Continuing "National Poetry Month 2013", here is my latest "EFF Limerick" comic gag with another popular 'fat furry' character from "Fur Affinity"...
This time,
Ghost Blackburn is the 'subject of interest' for my newest limerick. Of course, this wasn't the first time I'd drawn him. He was also the subject of one of my 'Tummy Heftifigure' ad parodies from 2011. You can still see it at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6932590/
The inspiration for my rendering of Ghost Blackburn came from two other images of the extra-large lion - trying to pass his ginormous body through a narrow, square egress - drawn by two other "FA" contributors...
"Pesky Doors" by Bloodread http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8067913/
"CP - GhostBlackburn" by Bangabear http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8785631/
In addition to these two images, another inspiration came from an old "Felix the Cat" cartoon (made for TV, back in the early 1960s), in which the title character befriends a lost elephant, and promptly takes her home. Of course, when she tries to pass her wide body through the narrow entrance of the cat's home, the pachyderm temporarily takes on a cubic appearance.
So, I'd decided to do the same thing for Ghost Blackburn, giving him somewhat cubic proportions, after passing his distended body through the oblong doorway - much to the surprise of my bobcat 'fursona'!
Come back next week (on or about this time), when I hope to present yet another "EFF Limerick" comic gag!
