Can't blame Frost for being grumpy. Cinder's notes were threatening, and made it sound like he was going to expose Frost if he did not cooperate.

Just why exactly AREN'T they on the same side? It seems like if they were exposed, they'd both be reviled and probably killed. So how exactly are they "not on the same side"? Or is he just being contrary because he doesn't like the guy?

Because he's a bully and leaves creepy, threatening notes in his locker? I definitely wouldn't trust him.

How else was he suppose to approach the guy? It's not like they normally get along, the notes were probably the only way the deer would talk to him. Bully maybe, but allies are hardly the same thing as friends and it seems like these "Hell-touched" need as many allies as possible.

People are free to think that Frost is being hasty in his decision, but um... generally saying 'hello I'd like to talk to you' is a more effective way of getting someone's attention than threats. Neither of these guys are particularly friendly personalities though.

"Hey, I know I've bullied you in the past, but I want to talk in private about a sensitive subject." I'm not expecting Frost there to reply to that with anything but the middle finger from what I've seen of him. ^.^;

I'd say Frost's reply was downright *sunglasses* Icy.

It's probably a combination of the threatening notes and the fact that Cinder really isn't the type of person Frost would associate with.
Frost did say something about Cinder dunking freshman's heads in toilets, meaning Cinder probably is the school bully.
But you're right, given the situation they're in, they need to be on the same side. (At least to some extent.)

I'll put it this way anyway: if I were a mutant in the X-Men universe, I'd probably trust Magneto to watch my back over the average person. I feel like the same logic applies here.

I wonder if maybe there was something that happened between them in the past that could have influenced Frost's decision in the matter then.... Maybe we'll find out tomorrow.

Also, are all hell-touched the result of natural phenomenons? Like cold snaps, lighting, fire, etc? Or can hell-touched result from more exotic things as well? Like electricity or radiation? Radiation might be a little old school though. :P

Not a big deal, but you do raise a rather interesting question, so far it seems that becoming hell-touched results in some form of elemental ability.
So I am curious about what exactly causes it too.

well, that's an oversimplification - the primary bolt is DC, but there's a "rebound" bolt that goes back the other way using the ion channel, that's why they flicker (sometimes can hit 4 or 5 rebounds), but a lightning bolt is not "DC" like a car battery, nor is it AC like house "mains", it is a complex static discharge

But I was so happy to see Frost was like this. 1) it's understandable to have such a reaction, 2) this won't be another porn comic for the shake of porn! Which makes me so happy that we see character development.

I think I'm that only one here that thinks these two will be a couple later on after a event occurs. I'm just guessing.

Whatever history they have, i think admitting something as serious as being 'helltouched' and letting him know that theres backup incase something happens, should be enough to not trust him, but atleast accept his moment of sincerity and understand what he's talking about.

Honestly, I wouldnt just blow him off and call him an enemy. At the very least, say thanks, Ill think about it, lol. Still, it definitely adds for a more interesting story, so in the end, I approve! :D

It happens (in the body) when you are struck by a lighting but there is not enough current to burn the skin its passing through.

Yep, Lichtenberg figures are one of my favourite natural phenomenons :P

It's not really a matter of 'supposed to', just personal preference. I'll leave it up to the reader to decide which characters they like or dislike. I tend to prefer characters who have negative qualities myself because I find nice characters really boring >_>
