I actually have a serious question now....
Concerning the eyes, I have seen a lot of makers construct them where the Irises are Buckram, but the whites are foam/solid fill. Why is this? Why not just make the whole eye buckram? I would think it would give the wearing a larger field of vision, but I may be wrong :)
I've just noticed this a lot and I was curious, even more so now that I am going to try making a head :)
Thank you so much!

I do not use all mesh eyes because it doesnt look good when you take a photo of the head. Also the mesh will warp over time.
The vision in this head im making has amazing vision. You can see everything and there is no blind spot! :D
I prefer buckram/plastic for all the eyes i make :)

I had a head that had the white as buckram, like they weren't covered with plastic of foam, and just no nononono. Like forget about looks, the real issue was that when sunlight hits that with buckram, it caused this glare and I couldn't see anything at all. Like nothing but white. Functually speaking, the head was useless anywhere that was well lit. When the buckram is painted over for the pupil and iris, the backside needs to be painted black, and the front painted with whichever colors and that prevents the glare issue.
