A doodle from my sketchbook i "finished" and did a bunch of processing on in photoshop.
Including mirroring the wing and some of the body, since i didn't feel like finishing the actual sketch and it was symmetrical anyway...
In case you didn't gather, i kind of have a thing for sphinxes. They're really fucking awesome.
Eventually i'll learn how to Anatomy and do a real good one...

interesting look. the anatomy looks a bit off, but that comes probably from the long neck and the human head... we are not really used to such sights.
I like her little smile. I guess she has a better riddle to solve than the standard one.
also, interesting way of keeping the bra in place. XD

Yeah, the anatomy is pretty terrible. Cat bodies make no sense to me... they have no chest or shoulder definition so i can't tell how their muscles fit together XD It's not like a horse where everything is clearly visible...
But, enough practice will cure that eventually!

would a lioness with a darker fur hue help? I've found out that black, grey, or light/white fur colours drown everything out, while darker yellow and chestnut lets one see every muscle and fur growth direction.
but I see what you mean. cats are so sleek they lack a lot of definition. :)

You could always study the anatomy of the sphinx cat as they have no hair to hide the muscle definition. Even though their limbs float they still have a home location. Or check the lion's muscle definition, is also pretty visible. It's still a hot pic though, she looks nice.
Ooo, she looks beautiful - I really love your take on the Sphinx. Cats definitely are a little harder to figure out for anatomy, but the lovely advantage of a mythological creature is that you have a lot of leeway. On this particular one, the jewellery is gorgeous, particularly the stuff that she's wearing on her breasts; they just accent them so nicely. The Sphinx was a creature that one would think you'd just stare at in wonder, and in this case... yeah. Definitely. :)
