It's an unlikely scene - the furry Kimberlin family all lined up, trying to pose for a portrait. On the left, Prissy the Chihuahua timidly sits. Mimi the pug wants to wiggle away so she sits and smiles for only a second. Sugar the cat just wants to get out of there. Chumlee is wary of Sugar's intentions and gives her a glare. Reba the boxer is content to sit a moment and watches the group. Bunches the elderly pug hopes a treat follows this session. They pose just long enough for the shot, just barely. Mort the desert tortoise (on the far lower left) didn't get the memo and didn't quite make it into the picture.
This fun portrait was a huge thank you gift for the Kimberlin family who let me stay at their Indiana home for 8 days to be artsy and pal around with my best friend Kayla. (aka
bluewolfcheetah). I got photos of them all separately and compiled them for one epic portrait. Don't expect this to ever happen in real life! I got to meet the whole gang during my visit and at the end of my stay I'd grown to love them all.

You know you are welcome here any time, we had a blast having you here. You're part of the family, consider this your home any time you're up in our area. ;) We all cherish this painting and show it off to friends and family who visit. You've gotten a lot of praise for your hard work during the last couple days as it rest on the wall in the living room, proudly shown to anyone who walks in the door. The spot we hung it makes it look like Reba and Chumly are looking at the front door like "Who's here?!" LOL
Love ya sis, thanks for coming *hug*

I wish our animals were so nice to sit by one another. :P This pack does pretty well. Chumlee hates the cat, the cat doesn't care for dogs and is a bit snobbish so she'd rather be elsewhere, and Mimi is a bit hyper for a pug and she'd rather be in your lap than sitting on the floor. But a pretty decent bunch I must say!
I haven't heard of them, Google to the rescue!
OMG Braldt Bralds, my mom has many of his numbered prints! I totally recognize him and admire his work (but never really knew his name LOL). The cats looking up at the spider is one we have and I love staring at it (just like the cats are doing LOL.) And drochon, I have another artist to admire. Thank you!
