Full detail commission of
Whisperclawof her fursona walking the ruins with the ever popular Gunblade in hand. This was originally nothing more than a concept art to another picture she wanted at the time as we were seeing which pose would best fit for the actual commission. Eventually, I had an idea to do something with it when she wanted to make something of this version. And so I converted it into something nicely detailed.
Check out her epic story here via the owner's version here! -> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/10446295/
N-joy! ^_^

Well you already know how I feel about this piece. Handsdown my favorite piece of Whisper to date! There's so much I could say about this piece: it has such an apocalyptic, gamer's feel to it. And between the attention to detail, background and that gunblade! And I have to say I'm kinda shocked and honored you used my story in your submission; wish I would have put more effort in it now, lol
Looking forward to commissioning you again and hopefully shooting more epic ideas your way *salutes your awesomeness*

Well, I must say it again, your ideas are motivational and always looking forward to seeing what you may come up with next go-round. It's like what you said in a comment on your posting version, I couldn't just leave a ordinary description on this picture. I was actually looking forward to seeing a revised story for it too XD For a short story, it was interesting lol.
When I open up again sometime later this summer, I look forward to doing more work for ya again. I can actually say you are no doubt one of my most valued commissioners who knows how to work the system I've set up (the powers of reading does wonders it seems!). And for that Avatar-ish pic, I'll be doing that while offline along with the Beasts Fury Project, and my own stuffs.

Thanks man. This is one of those pics if I try to do it again, it'll look awful or bland in comparison. LoL The city buildings are very VERY simple to do. I looked at a lot of buildings through photos, other art, and rl over the years so after capturing those images in my mind, I was fortunate to be able to create some buildings like these and using brushes for thier textures. I still wanna do some more city sceneries to be more proficient at doing a bigger variety of buildings.
Every time I do a building it looks like it came from a Star Wars city. Of course, some of my recent pics did have those type of buildings but they were on an alien world or even new additions to a city. I guess I'm just too lazy to bother with older style buildings. I do want to do a wider variety of scene other than natural outdoors ones.
I kind of remember some photoshop filter trick to make a city scene that looks like a large city seen from afar and up in the air.

Btw, this is the best Earth city I've done, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6146383/ The buildings still don't look very Earth like.
Of note: The City Hall is actually based of a HP Personal Laser Printer that was in where I worked at a local college.
The building behind it with the towers off of the central tower is based on the Southern Cross headquarters from Robotech Masters.

LoL It happens. A flood of submissions came in and this was swept under the radar XD Happens to all of us that's for sure! I think this is one of those "I can do it once" kinda pic and it'll take me like 5 years to push something like this out with ease. LoL I dunno.
But thank you!
But thank you!
I always loved Squalls Gunblade. Especially the "Punisher" the better version of the "Twin Lance" That one looks so badass. (Here it is: http://weapondesignerdawe.deviantar.....ment-345675984 )
But Cifers Hyperion is a nice weapon too. If i someone whould ask me which one i whould take, i whould say: "Both!"

Now that is impressive work. I always love images with destruction, because it has a devil of a lot more detail to flesh out. I love it when you put your full effort into the art, because it can be seen when you look at the image thoroughly. Best example is of course the fact that your name appears more than once in the background along with small images on the paper of characters and even a map. The smoke works with the sky and I like that you showed lighting for the sparks coming from the wires.
Thanks man. I said the same to myself when I finished this picture that I want to at LEAST uphold the standard to that level when I do pictures in general. And like you, I love post apocolyptic sceneries especially working on one. It definitely can be a time consuming thing which I don't mind what so ever, but in the end I can look back at it with satisfaction. I intend to do more pics like this in the future too.
AC will still remain the only Fur Con I go to until I get another form of employ that gives paid leave and pays well enough. Being forced to get Health insurance because of this stupid "law" is also going to limit my spending, though I believe that I may ignore getting it regardless if it turns out that the penalty fee is only taken out of the next tax return and not a monthly proverbial slap in the face (I'd rather deal with losing a piece of my return than losing my paycheck to something I am seriously lacking any real need of having). My local Anime cons are also a definite since they are easy on the pockets and travel needs.
I do plan on getting a PS4, but my paying off a card (Will take 2 years if things keep at a smooth pace) and this Health insurance crap (Cripple me financially), is keeping my spending extremely tight. I was going to range myself into getting it after I got my Tax Return, but it seems that is going to be placed on hold for much longer unless another job takes me in.

Damn... Yeah, I know what you mean. That health care crap is so not cool man. I really wish you the best of luck finding a better paying job and taking care of financial situations. Safe to say, it's pretty good that you'll get your PS4 later since there aren't many games out yet. I admit I'm a fool for jumping on first gen consoles upon their releases. Never fails no matter how many times I tell myself "I'll wait..." I was only contradicting myself: I had a $100 Gamestop gift card from 2012 christmas and saw my favorite game franchise (Need For Speed: Rivals) being a console released game... and... yeah... Y'know how the rest goes.
I would take my furry friends visiting from Germany to AC since one of them know a few people who will be going there as well, but their arrival will be long after AC and I can't miss a BBQ for a con neither XD

Free Food is a hard thing to turn away from. With that thought in mind, I want you to see about sending me any packaged food that is exclusive to the countries you visit. I'll gladly pay the difference for having food I never had before. MREs as well!
Have you had any of the issues that most people seem to have experienced with your PS4? I only know of one friend of mine that has it and hasn't suffered any of the hiccups.

I don't think I'll be going to any other countries anytime soon, but I can send ya an MRE though!
I haven't experienced any problems with my PS4 neither *knock on wood* like I've been hearing as well. I'm gonna fire it up again when I get home after being away for almost a month and hope it still runs just fine and that any patches or updates won't hinder its performance. I'm quite sure it's due for one by now.
