I ended up removeing the Inked lines from this drawing. Here is a detailed view of the tiger's eye at 100%. You can view the full image in my gallery (Tiger Butt)

Some people have been commenting on the eyes so I thought I would show a close-up. I love doing eyes. To me they are the most importand part of the facial expression as they bring life to the character. I also have a 'thing' for green eyes. :)

Steps I use to make eyes:
- noise filter to create random dots of grey
- radial blur to push out the dots (looks just like an iris)
- large black dor to represent the pupil
- Adjustment/Variation to select the eye color
- Airbrushed Color overlay to change the inner color slightly
- Black airbrush to create the outlining darker shadows
- duplicate the shadow layer, move it below the original shadow layer and set it to 50% Overlay to bring out the shadow color
- Dodge the highlights where the light would refract onto the iris across from the sun's reflection
- airbrush the sky feflection
- paint in the sun's reflection
- paint in the lenze refraction across from the sun's reflection within the pupil
- Airbrush the shading on the whites of the eye
Maybe after the con when I have time I will update my Techniques page and include an eye tutorial.

Just uploaded and already you have so many comments.
I always loved looking at the detail that you add to the eyes of your characters. I had never noticed until I saw the tutorial you made about how to draw eyes. After that, I went back and looked at all of the older pictures and I could see the detail.

Damn, you're really able to pack ton of detail into such a small space! I don't know how you manage that amount of insane detail in a pic like that (and I'm assuming it's several thousands of pixels arcoss judging by the line-art!), but I bow to your prowess. You truely are a master!
As I've said, the eyes. *purrrr*
Here's another cool use of eye work:

Er, ignore most of the image.

Holy crap.
As I was waiting for the picture to load (Somethings holding up the connection today. Bah) I was thinking you'd just photoshopped in a couple of real eye photos. They are exact. Exact exact.
It's really hard to imagine how you did that, even with the description... so I wont even try to.
Yup. I'll simply keep pretending to myself that you used photos. Save myself the brain implosion =)
