What you don't know is that there was a version before that, that was unfortunately not the way I described it. I asked that Rinji's arms BE his wings as a phoenix. Otherwise, this was the initial result.
Not saying that it's bad or anything. But I guess in hindsight now, I personally think that the whole concept of Rinji literally transforming into a phoenix seemed good on paper. But in my own opinion, I guess it seems a bit silly now that I look at it.
I'd like to think I'm in the minority here though and most of you actually dig this look. But either way, I have a better idea in mind for Rinji regarding his phoenix spirit. And please, no guessing about it. I'd like to keep it a surprise for when it finally happens.
Anyway, just thought I'd post this so it doesn't go to waste. Hope you like it! ^^
