I have applied to at least 13 different places here in town. And on a waiting list for a big chicken processing plant just outside of it (that list is long). Today I have to go to a meeting that the town offers up to people without jobs in order to snag some temporary relief money from the state. And thankfully I have already been approved for food stamps. Seems it is easier to get aid from the government than it is to get a job. And I would much rather just have the job.

Well it looks like you are trying to get back on your feet.

I hope that your writing can once again consume you and that your job is not to process chickens.

LOL I have been a butcher before while in college and processed entire sides of beef and pork. Yet I still totally enjoy every piece of meat from them. Its a gory job but I don't mind it. It is more of the speed in which you have to work in those factory situations I am not liking. Private meat markets are fast...but you don't have a "quota" to meet every day.
