This is an old piece from my ex, , but I really like the mood it gives. It was a sketch for an icon pair we had, but I adore the lines/sketch too much to leave it off of here.

I'm very grateful for it, and still think of it as one of my favorite pieces for my own sentimental reasons. It's a soft note in a chapter that ended abruptly and messily.

Nowadays, my stories are far more light-hearted and admittedly silly. Of that I'm glad, and desperately thankful for my friends who give me plenty of reasons to offer up a warm smile, much like this one.
