This was a learning experience more than anything. After several failed attempts to rig a bone animation system to the forearm without it distorting the crap out of the biceps, I gave up and just the transitions manually. Took more time, but gave me much more control over the function of it. I used Anime Studio Pro 9 for this, and I think, for this being a basic project to learn the functions of the animator and how to get what I want out of it, that it came out quite good. Well, aside from the distinct lack of a fist, but those are spawns from hell to be dealt with another day. Once you get it drawn out and layered, the act of animating it goes quite fast since you don't have to go frame by frame with it.

This was based mostly off of  HerculesRazor's avatar. He gave me permission to use it as a base to make my own. This is almost entirely for learning to animate flexing and growth, and it really helped a lot. Thank you again for letting me use it!




I'd put it under a species category, but since it's just an arm, I really don't think I can classify it, even though I intend for it to be a dragon arm.

Also, I don't know what's going on with that bar in the lower right corner. Anime Studio Pro doesn't seem to have the best export to flash settings, so I'm considering changing this submission over to a gif file when I get around to exporting it that way.
