SugarNutz Girls Bookmark Samples
I'll be coming out with several bookmarks featuring the SugarNutz girls in time for Anthrocon. These 7" tall bookmarks will come with golden tassels and slot punch to hang from a ID badge clip if you wish instead. These are the digital design samples. I've printed out a test set and they look great.
Preliminary pricing: $5 each / $15 Entire set of four.
So, what do you think?

You forgot the 'Select, Start' bit, though, but the shortened version is cool too. ;3 At least, I think you hit 'Select, Start' at the end of that. It's been so long since I've played Contra that I've forgotten the whole thing. Damn I feel old, now. <.< I may need some consoling on how old I feel. Gee, if only there were some gamer girl willing to help a poor white tiger out....
Nope. It was first introduced, and used, in 1986 for Gradius, but it is more famously known for its use in Contra, and is why it is also known as the Contra Code. Its original incarnation, as Allester said, was Up Up, Down Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start. In Contra, they added the 'Select' button for the two-player function. It gave the player 30 lives.
That's right, I forgot. I mostly played it on two-player mode, so I had that particular code memorized. That's also why leaving out the 'Select' feels really wrong to me, like I'm leaving something out, but you're right it was originally just 'Start' and not 'Select, Start'. x3
