Because I've seen this happen a few times. When some certain artists draw one species only and then tries to draw another, it usually doesn't end up well.
Now I'm not saying every wolf artist can't draw bears. I'm just sayin' some should study other animal anatomy before actually drawing them.
I should start drawing other animals too, but people keep asking me to draw bears! Not that I'm complaining though. Lol

I suspect my main problem in being an artist who does wuffs a lot, but sometimes does draw bears, is that I make their heads entirely too small. I mean, besides the whole 'Incredible Burrulk' muscle biz and all. Admittedly, I do that with a lot of my wuffs, too. Houf. Old habits die hard, I think. o_o
Still all good, tho'! Rodney, you are still the first artist who drew a Shiba Inu but that I made the mistake of referring to him as a husky, so it's all good. Branching out is always ossum. Cheers, and gracias por oso, as always!

Ha, I know; a fellow DA artist put up a pic of her Shiba Inu on her page, who, of course, I mistook for a husky. I can't even clearly remember the last one I saw IRL, or at least if I can pick out a piece of such a memory and try and identify it, it just registers as 'husky'. Houf. Ah, well, pas mal as long as they get plenty of snuggles!
Ossum pic, once again!
