I remember when this song came out, I was just a kid but it has just stuck with me. I still think it's a pretty cool song even now. I actually covered it before in College as a kind of Gothic Metal thing (though it was only the main "riff" I used).
I've been meaning to do this for a long time and never found time or effort to do it, but I had an overwhelming urge to do it at long last now I have some half decent gear and I am actually fairly happy with how it's come out.
So yeah, a metal cover of a classic 90s tune, hope you enjoy!!

I am kind of the opposite, I don't mind some 80s stuff (though my least favourite song of all time is an 80s song). I don't "like" 90s pop per se but it just reminds me of my childhood and going on holiday with my family to holiday parks and stuff.
But agreed, breaking it down from a musician's perspective it's all utter crap haha, but I still love this song for some reason XD

Ho-leeeee crap! Never, never in a million years did I EVER imagine I'd hear a metal cover of Blue... But once again, Mr. Wolf, you did an outstanding job on it. This had to be a hard song to cover I can only imagine, but you somehow did it, and made it fantastic as well. By the second chorus, that amped up guitar just blew me away!! Phenomenal job, sir! I don't know if I'll be able to go back to the original now!
Haha, many thanks! It was actually a fairly easy song to "learn" but I did experiment with a few different rhythm patterns to see how far I wanted to take it. I didn't want to stray to far from the original structure so making it sound noticeably different was the most challenging bit for me.
But seriously, thank you so much for your support mate. I really appreciate it!!

Well I think you did very well with keeping to the original, but still making it your own. You melded the epic guitar work into the song so amazingly. It keeps that classic feeling that makes Blue so catchy, but the dramatic, metal feel you added just goes so well that it feels natural being there.
Also, I was listening to this piece again today, and my sister was in the room too. I was suprised when she told me she was extremely impressed by it. She's usually not one for this type of metal, but this piece got a really positive reaction from her.

Yeah, it was epic, definitely going to try and go again next year. It was pretty sunny towards the end, everyone I went with ended up sunburnt, haha. Though we had a proper thunder storm at one point. Probably the best moment for me was Rammstein, they were literally mind-blowing. Though Slipknot and Iron Maiden were just fantastic.
Well I hope things brighten up some more for you bud, if you ever want a chat feel free to drop me a message. *Hug*

I have always wanted to see Rammstein, their live shows are legendary haha. One day I'm sure I'll get to see them though! I heard Maiden had a Spitfire fly over, but that theyalso had a couple of sound problems?
You going to go Bloodstock as well? Or is that you all festivalled out?
They are getting better thankfully!

Everyone should see Rammstein at least once, their shows are just.. wow. Haha, I'd love to see them again. Yeah they did, just before they started. :-D Yeah, it wasn't too bad though. Though I was pretty wasted at the time.
I really want to go to Bloodstock, whether that actually will happen remains to be seen. Given the choice I would go to every festival I could manage! But work and funds and bleh.
And awesome! *Cuddle*

I've seen them a few times actually, last time was at the O2 on their Final Frontier tour. And I do agree with you about Rammstein, everyone needs to see them at some point!
It is, time and money aren't things I have in abundance for things like festivals at the moment sadly :(
