Commission for
tamurross of
arskatheman Character.
God the hair and fur was a bit hard to handle since they were clashing at first (doesn't help that I'm out of practice)
It has been a LONG while since I got around to finishing these Iron Artist commissions.
Things have been hectic. but i forced my self to have time to do this [ and hopefully the following week end as well.
Doesn't help that I feel i have rusted a bit, and a lil fatigued. But i shall keep pushing.
Just to let you know I still have the list of the peeps who commissioned me for these and I haven't forgotten

that is some pretty impressive quality there, pressure wise and all, loving the effects here. Might I ask what kind of equipment did you use paper wise and pen? its pretty amazing, i would love for my sketched to come out as great of quality as this someday haha. I usually have been using basic material for mine, a mechanical 2 pencil and printer paper. or some from a sketchbook, but he quality never turns out as nice as this. Again impressive work.
ideally for simple stuff i use a pencil [ usually the soft ones like 4b up to 8b, my hands tend to cramp up with the hard ones since i'm used to drawing lightly]. But i do use mechs for detailed drawings like this [ normally .5 or .7 but i do used on rare occassions .3 and .9 ] and i like soft lead like for my pencils. As for paper i try not to be picky, but I do enjoy working on board paper over textured rough ones since its smooth and the thickness helps later if i plan to color it with markers or something (so stuff like regular office paper if fun for me because it's smooth).
but try not to let the materials limit what you can do tho hope that helps
