Still working on the Riptide, so here is something else in the meantime.
I finally found this model, along with my ForgeWorld Broadside. There's some light conversions there, an addition to the head, the addition of a blade to the right arm (to represent the Bonding Knife) and I took apart the left arm to stretch it out. Nothing too fancy, but the effect is nice. With a burst cannon and a cyclic ion blaster he's fitted out to take down masses of infantry. Since I like specializing my units, his bodyguard will be outfitted similarly, with twin-linked burst cannons. Add some gun drones and they should be able to make a nice dent in any horde :)
I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out, especially since I was just starting to learn how to highlight properly. True, it doesn't look that great up close, but on the battlefield he looks very nice, which is what I'm usually aiming for.

Agreed. Mind you, the Crisis do deserve some re-working. Not a change in design, just an improved set with arms and legs that allow for more poseability. They still are cool though :)

I agree...I'm also waiting for them to Upgrade the regular Fire warriors Armor...'cause that would look awesome

Yeah, those could probably use an upgrade too. The new Pathfinders certainly turned out sweet!

Yeah. new box of plastic minis. 10 pathfinders with all weapon options you could want, plus 3 drones.

It is! very nice box. And unlike some other boxes that have come out recently, reasonably priced too!
