So, Gimpy (http://rockstargimpy.deviantart.com/) came up with this new species of shape-shifting creatures called Artifice. (Artifice is both singular and plural.) She had a picture of an adult one already drawn up, but not one of a younger member of the species.

This is an Artifice's natural form. They have dragon-esque legs and a tail. They always have at least two horns and a tattoo of somesort. Their wings are supposed to resemble a mix between a bat wing and an eagle's wing. You be the judge on how well I pulled that off....

Gimpy is coloring this in photoshop as I type this. She's a much better color artist than I am, rest assured!
