Lisa Frank missed out on a grand opportunity for rainbow sparkle dragons! I bought the unicorn stickers but it just wasn't the same. :(

I seriously want them to do more things like this, catered to their original demographic. I think it'd be a big success, actually!

I worked on a calibrated IPS monitor, and since most people don't calibrate with a little robot I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people were viewing it differently than how it looks on my monitor. At the very least it's meant to be bright. c:

Hahaha, there certainly is... and I'm pretty sure I'm skirting the line at "oh god why did you detail that much you broke it." I was actualy worried about that for days, but my boss and the people in charge of the playmats seemed to really like it... so I won't commit seppuku quite yet. iThe newer ones I'm doing for them have much less of that color contrasty-ness, so hopefully they'll read a bit easier even with the detail.


Btw, I love what you've been doing with your own freelance stuff. Is S2Games having you do more splash/promotional artwork, or are you also diving into that scary realm of 3D modeling/texturing/animation? XD

Haha it's definitely on the edge I must say! I can still make out what's what though so that's alright ;p.

Actually they are also letting me do some concept work now :)! Drawing promotional images is great and all but actually creating content is just awesome, lol. I actually quite like 3D Modeling, but that's a whole specialty in and of itself and I do think I prefer 2D art.

It's incredible how well you're able to use high-saturation colors. Woww.

Waaay too long. I think about 60 hours, haha. A lot of it was painting and re-painting.
