It occurred to me that I'd never posted any pictures of my blue tongue skink, Blair! She came from someone who didn't know what they were doing and kept her on a diet of NOTHING but crickets. It's been a tough job getting her up to an appropriate weight, but she's now on a far better diet. It took her a while to figure out how to eat veggies and fruit, but now she just adores them :) Her little toes also suffered from a heat rock (the one currently in there is a normal rock, her heat lamp sits 2' above it and just barely makes it warm enough for her to get heat from without any further damage to her toes). She's a cuddler once she's out of her enclosure, where she tends to feel rather territorial ;P Her colors are so beautiful, I don't know that I've seen another bts with her pattern/coloration.

like so many species these guys have regional colors/patterns and those regions overlap with intergrades
so there does seem to be an endless variation in appearance, blue tongues are like snow flakes
mine had the opposite health problem when I acquired it, a puffed up old breeder
somewhere between football and pancake is the shape you want people
