Well, remember those few sketches in my scraps from a few weeks back? Remember how I said I wasn't going to make him a character. Sadly, I couldn't resist! XD

Introducing Roopert the Kangaroo, a curious, little critter who's the latest of my additions. Little Roopert here underwent a few changes since the draft sketch as well as a minor spelling alteration. So, no more vest and no more "Ru" spelling; now we have a small sweatband on his tail and "Roo" spelling to shake things up a bit.

The pose, simple and common, was kinda sorta inspired from my cat. She was laying there when I was drawing this up a few nights back, and it looked cute enough. Unfortunately, I will have to officially label my cat as a slut, because my father was asking me about the "provocative" pose when I first showed him this picture. XD

Roopert will surely be a wonderful addition. I am getting quite a boost of inspiration from my friend, and we have a possible collaboration in mind with an adorable sketch she drew of Roopert and her own kangaroo character.
