A little more detail on Mr. Bishop:

One of the older serving member of the Banyay business, Raqim holds a lot of clout and keeps tabs on the family workforce in his district. A marine veteran from a previous regime, he came under the family’s employ following the ceasefire on the Isle of Nevers over 15 years earlier. This military backbone underlies his very nature making him a disciplined and reliable liaison for Gideon.

His formal employee title is that of ‘accountant’ at a neighbouring pawn shop. That being his headquarters and base of operations when administering the district and keeping an eye on Gideon.
