Sometimes a word will come to me from nowhere that just sounds right. In this case, I found there was much more to it than I could have guessed.
This is both a bit of history and a think piece - it is not a furry piece.
enjoy...

Such a mindful piece; I can assume that the definition is correct, yes? How very interesting, and true as well. Why, take this very story as an example: I was well aware of propaganda as well the influence that any such display could have, however the very thought that it might be in such a spread never occurred. This, my dear Miss V, will keep me thinking for quite a while. Thank you.
Also, I have no idea why, but my replies to you tend to be more thought out and, I suppose scripted is an appropriate word. It's not a manner in which I talk day to day (though that may be due to the time in which I have available to think my replies over). Still, the only scrap of reason I can draw from behind it is that your art makes me think more of the language I'm using. I'm not sure where I'm going with this, it's merely an interesting occurrence I've noticed and thought to share.
more correctly it is probably in the way you think... it is an interesting occurrence to be sure. For me - thank goodness for spell check.
Yes the definition is correct - as is the fact that Aristotle taught Alexander the Great. I hadn't known that either; though I have always been aware of our government trying to mold our minds. Once upon a time they were much more subtle about it, but perhaps the more brain dead television becomes the more they have to hit the mule over the head with the two by four.

Oh my, without spell checker my primary teachers would be queuing up to beat me with a dictionary!
In some ways I knew of it, but I never stopped to think that (in the early days especially) the government controlled influence over our very morals, especially in such a, well, clever manner. And yes, television has reared a rather brain-dead child in the form of my generation I'm afraid, I daresay a two by four wouldn't be thick enough (heck it wasn't for me - my morals are so skewed they're actually enjoying their nature :P ).
*Returns the hugs and laughs... you're always interesting to talk to my dear lady, and so kind that I'm not sure you really belong to this world!

that is the most wonderful compliment I have ever been given K... *hugs tight... thank you so much...
in actuality, and after giving it some thought, it only makes perfect sense to me that the ancient theater had its roots in this outreach/teaching the masses. It would have been conceived by the true thinkers of the times, and what they thought and believed was certainly on a level far above the common man. All societies, no matter what era, have been very complex. A common denominator among the masses has always been entertainment.
(morals skewed here too I am sure)
