This is a refreshing change from the endless torrent of hedgehogs and foxes. I like it! Though, there's still room for improvement. Maybe his tail should be a bit longer and have a spine on the end? (Am I thinking correctly here? Do manta rays have stinging things?) Also I'm thinking that his "fins" should stretch out to his knees, similar to how flying squirrels look. He doesn't look too aquadynamic at the moment :P.

Other than that, it's awesome!

Sting rays are the ones with the spines on the end. Also, part of his tail is hiding behind him (its supposed to be a bit wavy) so it's a bit longer then it appears here.

I'm not so sure if I should make his fin-wing things longer or not, I'll try it out later.

I'd say the wings look good as they are. The only thing I could think of that 'might' make them better would be if instead of just on the arms, if they connected to the body (like Lexington from Gargoyals if that means anything)

Wow this is too cute! Manta Rays are adorable. I love the design, I think you did a great job! The blue eyes are a nice touch, and the mouth flaps on his head are really cute

Also, manta rays =/= stingrays, to all you people making Steve Irwin jokes. Ugh, that really annoys me. k bye

They are.. Unless your feeding a bunch of them XD then they fight over the food. It's funny.. but kind of scary. I was always afraid they would eat my fingers

i dont think youre supposed to touch them though. i think they have a layer of mucus on their skin that protects them from bacteria and stuff, and touching it will break it. not really sure about that though

They let us at the Baltimore Aquarium years ago when I was in Elementary School. They had this shallow pool and you could touch the rays. I don't remember if they were sting rays or manta rays (I think they were mantas), but they felt neat and smooth.

Someday I'm going to ride one of them like a ramora.

Wow that's cool. You usually just see mammal & sometimes reptilian Sonic characters but nothing like this. I really like how it came out :3
