11 x 14 pencil sketch overlay for color pencil piece
Been wanting to do a piece featuring the beautiful markings on a leopard back as I did with the tigress in "Remember Me" but didn't want to do something so simple. Was working on a male piece and a female piece the last few days but I was having issues with his pose so I attacked her sketch yesterday. Drew her but I thought she looked lonely so I drew da burd. then I saw need to make it more, so I put a chain on her and gave said bird the magic crystal that would release her and allow her to retake her kingdom and the throne. Yeah, got a little story to go with it but I won't take it farther than an outline.
Starting color on it tonight and will be working on it at RMFC :D

Yes the size of the head bothers me a bit too, worked on it some but there is a little perspective at work also. When I transfer it, I will be able to adjust the size some. won't take much.
As for the Remember Me sequel, I was reading it over the other day and I am pretty happy with it so far. It's about 85% complete and needs just a few adjustments here and there and a few connecting lines. A couple evenings and I will be able to complete it. (sometime after RMFC) Its name btw is "Flotsam".
I know what the accompanying drawing will be like too. Did one sketch.

She is reaching away, so there will be some foreshortening (compared to the left) but you are right, the forearm is way to short and should be about the same length as the upper arm. That has been corrected! There was a considerable length difference. THANK YOU! I was working on the arm length then got sidetracked and didn't get back to it. That happens a lot with me.
I tend to agree, the head may be a tad smallish. But what I do love is how it's laid out. The eye goes from the bird, down to the leopardess, then her (albeit lovely) figure guides you down to the tail, which seems to put you a final roller-coaster.
The back story too is excellent as well.
As always, I cannot wait to see the finished product. Your getting a disproportionate amount of +favs from me. But it is nothing I'll apologize for
