I had a really close friend of mine sudden drop me like a bad habit because she became TIAMAT THE 9-HEADED DRAGON GODDESS and her new GODDESS friends said I was evil and wouldn't let her talk to me anymore. ....Because I was calling them on their BS and trying to talk some sense back into this girl. Yeah, it's amazing how similar their 'shun the non-believeeeer' tactics are to a cult. There are honestly advice websites where they tell others to do that.

I also knew this kid who tried to tell me I was a SENSHI, as in a sailor moon sailor scout character. I was SAILOR MATRIX, according to him. Of course I was apparently badass in another life and surprise, I was the long lost lover he was looking for. He actually started to try to sucker another friend of mine into it, and was always trying to get me to 'awaken' to my past memories and stuff. Ohgod.

And it's totally a cult. I've seen it far too many times to think anything otherwise. There's always one super special leader all the others are 'guardians' of, or something that seems glamorous but is actually a position of servitude and submission. And then the extortion and mind-control begins D:

Yeah how come nobody ever reawakens to being like 'Redshirt Who Gotten Eaten in the Same Episode He Appeared in #3' or anything like that? It's always the popular characters.

Hahaha! Some of the 'real!' ones ARE! They make a big to-do about being 'just a citizen in ___" Like that validates them more, because they aren't the hero or the villain, they're just some average joe in a world where everyone pilots giant robots. ...Which makes me laugh, because really, how does that make you any different than you are now?

Alas, the things one does to escape the fact they are indeed just as boring as they seem to be.
