Nozomi the Echinda: (Age 18, Height 3'8" 110 lbs.) Nozomi is a disciple of the late Sonic the Hedgehog, who had sacrificed himself to save his friends. and Knuckles the Echinda, who is a distant relative. He was trained to take over as the world's next hero.
Personality: He is rather reserved, but likes to have fun. He is usually serious, especially when his friends are in trouble.
Abilities: He has the ability to manipulate ki to create energy waves. Since Nozomi is still honing his skills, he has yet to have a signature ability, but so far he has a good ability of power and agility, yet to attain as much speed as Sonic had. One move he has learned so far is Lightning Impaler, where his arm is shrouded in a cyan-colored ki blade that cuts through most objects.
Appearance: His body type is semi-muscular. He has dark brown eyes, sky blue fur, and black and blue striped hair; his chest tribal mark is golden; He also wears shiny black gloves, and has dark toned skin. He wears a white belt and and white headband given to him by Sonic.
Backstory
Nozomi never really had any parenting as his mother died at birth and his father always hated him for looking so different than him. At a young age, because of his fur color and body shape he always looked more...girly than a boy should be. It didn't help that girls never saw him as a candidate, so High school was quite unfun for him adding that to him constantly being bullied by everyone. Nozomi eventually ran away from home to train himself to become stronger. He would constantly pick fights and take beatings. That is until he met Sonic, who took him under his wing and raised him into the Echinda he is now. Sonic's charisma never rubbed off on Nozomi, but his speed sure did. Nozomi could almost go as fast as Sonic if conditions are met. Then, one of Eggman's relatives decided to kill Sonic in cold blood by recreating a Death Egg. Sonic decided to infilitrate and destroy the Death Egg, but couldn't make it out in time. It took Nozomi weeks to recover from the emotional state he was in, which also at the time showed him his hidden ability: the ability to manipulate ki at free will. He then trained under Knuckles in which he learned to harness and control his abilities, shaping him into the successor to Sonic. He is still socially awkward at times but ambitious.
