The truth
Horrible things can happen
When the truth is
Made known

We face
Judgment
When we tell
The whole truth

It scares us
Because we are afraid
Of being rejected
Cast out because of our secrets

Our secret lives
When they are made known
Can make it so,
That we must face judgment

In judgment
We lose everything
And it leaves us
In mourning.

So we hide the truth
And tell our lies
In order to escape
Judgment
