I rented a camp on Dodge Pond near Rangeley Maine the last full week of July. On July 23, in honor of National Hot Dog Day, despite the wet conditions, I had some hot dogs over the camp fire and snapped this shot with the clouds obscuring 3,300 ft (1km) Spotted Mountain to the north.

Thanks. It was a wonderful, though too short, week. Very quiet, though the camp is close to the main road. Reasonable rental fee (under $600 for 6 days) and came with a row boat with trolling motor. Lake is full of landlocked salmon and trout. Several hiking trails near by and only 3 miles from town if you forgot something. I'm definitely keeping this one in mind for future vacations.
