Used to have this up as 'My Damage'. Took it down, thought it was a bit too emo. I showed it to my good friend

I could see this as one of those late seventies/early eighties epic ballads written by Jim Steinman, such as "Two out of three ain't bad", "Total eclipse of the heart" or "Holding out for a hero".
