Perhaps this is one of the forgotten sites in the Spontoon Island Archipelago, well at least for most tourists anyway. This is a normal view for the Spontoonie natives though as they go on with their day to day activities.

Very effective design. I (approximately) remember from pictures the mangrove root patterns you show. I don't remember enough of the appearance of the shape of the trees and pattern of the leaves to understand your self-critique. If I were to attempt to do mangroves, I would have to be looking at color pictures on the internet, rather than getting a chance to actually see any.
I'd be happy to post that on the Spontoon website; or an evolved version, when it appears.
