That is the idea; the front is meant to resemble cherry pie, while the sides and back are inspired by blueberry ice cream and the sleeves are designed based on ice cream cones.
His fur color is meant to resemble red velvet cake, his hat's meant to resemble a maraschino cherry like those placed atop an ice cream sundae, his pants are based off of chocolate chip cookies, with his shoes being chocolate brown, and...I think his tail speaks for itself.
