SCAVENGERS: Dale McIntosh
Character sheet for Dale "Mac" McIntosh of SCAVENGERS, a work in progress.
It was probably a mistake to make an otter into a mechanical engineer. Surely someone should have noticed that much of a ship's systems are made of metal.... SHINY metal. But that has a good side too as this otter is very careful to keep all of it polished and operating as best it can. Machinery that isn't working gets dull and that simply isn't acceptable. He does have a habit of collecting more junk than there is space, but hey, that just means a few more modifications to the ship's hull here and there and now there's room. You never know when something might come in handy.

Wow. Someone who remembers Tan. I'm impressed. FUSION was one of those comic book titles from the classic black and white pulp comic age that really got me into the fandom. Steve Gallacci, Lela Dowling- all of them.
It was very hard NOT to make this into Tan. I SO want to put goggles and a scarf on this fella, but nah- gonna try to give him a different personality, well as much as that is possible for an otter.

Yes. I remember Tan. and Fusion. and Albedo. and Xanadu. and a host of other comics that live still in my head, if not in my comic storage boxes. This is what happens to Old Comic fans. we see something new, and think, Hey, that looks like so-and-so from a comic gone by...
