Storyline: A trip to the grocery store doesn't turn out so simple for Aura Applebottom.

Bitter Sweet Acceptance -Chapter 1

"Aaahh!" cried the grey husky. She fell out of the bed onto the floor, landing on her face. She groaned as she rubbed her muzzle. "Ow..." she murmured to herself. She got up from the floor and sat back down on the bed. This was the 7th time she has been having those strange dreams.
Aliens breaking into her house? The situation sounds too silly to explain it to mother about. Speaking of, 'Wasn't she supposed to head out somewhere today?' Aura asked while scratching her cobalt blue bob styled hair. This week seemed to be so busy for Aura. Just moving into her own apartment alone was a big job.
Her mother was always proud of her, but she could get a bit too clingy at times. Seeing her mom look sad to see her daughter go out into this cold cruel world was enough for her to agree to watch over the house while her mother ventured out to go help a few relatives about a baby shower across the states. Aura's mom didn't want to bring her along because she wanted her daughter to rest up from the week of moving. She helped a stranger move as well some time easlier this week.
Could the sudden nightmarish dreams be the result of moving away from mother? Aura was confident about it on the most part. The other part kind of misses staying. Maybe it could be the small part of her wanted to stay instead. Nonetheless, she brushed it off. It wasn't like she was moving overseas. Aura will just be living 2 miles away; and that's enough of a distance to walk even.
The grey husky did her morning routine. Her boss let her have a week off so she could settle in. How kind of him. She opened the fridge to make something for breakfast. Oh. Right.
She offered to go grocery shopping yesterday evening and had forgotten to do so because of her tireness. Aura sighed. She was looking forward to spending breakfast in bed and in her pjs all day. 'Guess that will have to wait for another day,' she said in her thoughts a bit disappointed.

She managed to grab to grab the last item off of her list: Whole milk. "Thank goodness. Now I can go home, make breakfast, and go to sl-," She started. "Hi!" a voice greeted from behind her. "Aaah!" She yelped in surprise. Two scares in one day are too many. She was exhausted already from working for 7 1/2 straight of moving.
A grey husky stood behind her. The male husky has short light green hair with pink eyes. He smiled at her. He looked around 6'2ft with the usual pine green polo uniform and brown pants. "H-hello," Aura said with a sheepish smile. "Our company today has just added a new milk product. Would you like to try a sample?" he asked. "Milk sample? I don't get what you mean," she said tilting her head in confusion.
"Instead of the 2 precent milk or whole milk, we've invested into a healthier type of milk for every consumer to like." "What's so different about it?" "Glad you asked! It not only focuses on calcium. It works better for getting rest at night for light sleepers. The taste is more of an almond type of taste so even people who don't like milk can properly enjoy it. And it will make your teeth 30% stronger."
"The best thing of all is that it's natural milk," he explained. Aura starred at the sample carton inside of the small mini fridge next to his portable counter. "And I get a free sample?" She asked. She wasn't too picky with new things. He nodded, "And if you don't like the taste, we can give you a discount for it." She pondered for a moment.
Aura smiled and said, "Alright. I'll try it. I do have a hard time sleeping at night." He smiled again as he handed her a small carton. It was light blue with a baby bottle on the side of it. She cocked an eyebrow. "Oh! The slogan they use is 'so good. You'll sleep like a baby'," he said with an unphased smile.
She chuckled at this. "Alright. Thank you, sir." "You have a nice day now." "You too, sir." And she made her purchases before heading home.

Aura hadn't spend a second in her day clothes before changing into her warm footie pjs. Even if they did seem childish to the eye of society the house was freezing and they kept her warm all day. Not likr she had anywhere else to go or people to see. That evening, she decided to try this new milk. She measured about a cup and placed it on the burner in a non-stick pot. Since milk doesn't boil, she waited for 5 minutes until it was warm enough to drink.
"Maybe I can finally get some proper sleep without waking up repeatedly at night...or having the same nightmare over and over again," she said to herself before drinking it. She sat on the couch and began reading a book. After a while, she started to lend over on the couch. "After this..." she spoke between long yawns "...ch-chapter, I'll go to b-bed." She did not make it to the end of the chapter.
