Bitter Sweet Acceptance -Chapter 2

'What year is it?' Aura asked in her thoughts as she rolled over in her bed. She groggily opened her eyes. For some reason, things seemed a lot bigger. 'Wow. Maybe I slept longer than I thought.' She rubbed her eyes with both of her hands. Nothing seemed to change. 'Huh?'
Everything remained bigger than usual. "What on Earth is going on?" she spoke aloud. When she tried to move, Aura felt something in between her legs. She sat up to take a look. A diaper? Now, why would she wear those?
She's 21 years old after all. Then again, other things didn't look so right either. Her legs were shorter. Chubbier.
Lastly, she looked at her hands. "Wh-wh-what happened to me??!!" She yelled. Her voice high pitch and childish-like. There were footsteps running towards the room. They sounded very powerful. This scared the little husky.
She couldn't find a place to hide except for under the covers. She slide underneath them. They felt so warm and safe. She never wanted to leave. Chills danced up and down her spine as the footsteps of this sudden intruder drew closer. Who could be in her house? What happened to her? Is this some type of nutty joke?
'Please let it be a dream, please let it be a dream, PLEASE let it be a horrible dream,' she pleaded in her little thoughts repeatedly. The footsteps finally came to a halt in front of the door. She heard a light chuckle. What were they going to do to her? She was in no condition to fight back.
She shivered in fear. 'I wish mommy was here,' she said in her mind. She didn't care if she sounded childish at that moment. She said she would look over the house, but this is ridiculous! Warm hands picked her up from under the covers without any effort at all.
Aura didn't get a good look at the person. She started to cry. "Oh dear. I didn't expect this," the intruder had said. They placed the crying girl onto their should and started hushing her.
After some time, Aura's cries quieted to just a few whimpers and sniffles. "There. That wasn't too bad. You had me worried," the voice of the intruder spoke. They spoke very light and hush toned.
Aura looked up with frightened eyes and took a glance at her strangely "friendly" intruder.
