The pace is good, and as with the last chapter it is engaging. I would be remiss not to point out something I noticed though: There are sections where I had to read over more than once to sort out who had been talking. So far this is all noticed that bothered me.
Keep going though! It's good, I can see the themes you're putting together here and they show quite well.
