Now, in color, Tina cosplays as a "Mud Scout", about to test the depth of a bog that her future troop is going to hike into,...er, across...maybe.
Future troop, you say? Yes. Tina and
preppymarshmousee's character Penny are slated to appear in a series of themed "recruitment posters" for the Mud Scouts, and they're looking for additional femmes to appear as extras. Have some good clean fun getting down and dirty (and yet maintaining a "G" rating). That sinking feeling never felt so good!
Benefits include having your character drawn in the snappy uniform seen here, wetlands hiking into assorted areas of questionable solidity, maybe even unexpectedly plunging into depths you've never known possible to escape from--and best of all, we pay the laundry bill!*
(*this assumes we're able to rescue you--remember to keep your beret on at all times so we can find you if you go really deep :) )

Very nice. A big improvement by shifting her feet forward to remove the leaning effect, and having her toes in the mud really hints at what is to come. I really like the pole as well. A cute addition that shows these girls mean business.
And this is exactly the kind of troop I'd love to join...but they just won't let me in. Sexist I say! *hrms* I may just have to dress the part and sneak in to become a member.

Hey Sign me up! I'm already part of the Swampfox Scouts, an all species all sex group for exploring swamps n'd marshes n' that sort o' thing. I've already got the uniform more or less, could use that beret, and maybe a differint sash or somethin'
I've got a profile sheet, all setup and everything ;)

For becoming one of the extras? Basically female character, able to wear shoes (i.e. plantigrade feet), and not an exceptionally exotic/difficult character to draw (some folks create characters from exotic or difficult to anthropomorphize species just for the artistic challenge--and then wonder why more folks don't do as they did).
Still gethering ideas. I still have to do the half-dozen or so 'recruitment posters' which this project is gathering characters to participate in. Beyond that, I haven't gotten around to what might come after.
I actually have enough particpants to start the posters, I just have some other stuff going on at the same time so I skip around as my inspiration staggers about like a drunken sailor :)

Cuuuute!
Ooooh, are the Mud Scouts still taking on new recruits? I have a couple of girls, either or both of them might be very suitable to join up. :) One's a friendly tweenage catgirl who loves to wear sandals, the other is a teen foxgirl who usually has a pair of knee-high, platform high-heeled vinyl boots on her long legs. :)
Is it just me, or does everyone else find typing comments to be really sloooooooooow?

Mud Scout pics are still on the to-do list. I imagine that when I do the first "recruitment posters" there will be a bunch more people wanting to get their characters involved. So, I'm trying to get some other projects out of the way before resuming development.
I can certainly add more recruits (they'll be added to the queue for 'example pics' first), although the sandal-wearing character will probably need some footwear more appropriate to the uniform. I'm trying not to stray too far from the baseline (or give any one character too much of an advantage so far as mud protection is concerned--outside the MS, anything goes)

Fair point....the catgirl's sandals do fasten in place, so she wouldn't just lose them in seconds flat, there would be some effort involved in sucking them off her feet. She did tell me she'd quite like a pair of wedge-heeled Mary-Janes though. :)
Actually, now i think about it, my vixen would probably be too old for the Scouts anyway. :)
So yes please, if she may, my catgirl Leana would like to sign up to the Mud Scouts. "Do your best (to get stuck in the mud)!"

My foxgirl, Roxy (Foxy Roxy, geddit? ^_^), felt she wouldn't fit in, but I do have another character.
If you ever decide to take on non-bipeds in the Mud Scouts, let me know. She's a girl centaur...well, a girl pegataur really. (I realise how difficult that would be, I'm just kiddin' about her joining up).

I have 2 characters that would love to join. The first is me, Julie Ryuusa. I am a lycanthrope girl, namely a wereangel. The other is my sister, Prismi Ryuusa. She's also a wereangel. I look similar to Ciel from the MegaMan Zero series and Prismi is similar to Maria Renard from the Castlevania series. I'll get more in-depth later.
Viera, Gria... I'm not familiar with what these would look like.
I see the characters you reference: (url=http://www.creativeuncut.com/galler.....tml]Ciel[/url], Maria Reynard, but I'm not sure how I would anthropomorphisize them while keeping some semblance to their 'original' forms (especially in a uniform that is a good deal plainer than the outfits in the above links)

Also, I was thinking more towards her Dracula X: Rondo of Blood look.
