BUT IBLIS MY NEW REAPER BABY I GOT FROM rani

Iblis is a Turkish word (if you'll notice 99.9% of my characters have some form of something Turkish I CAN'T HELP IT) anyways for demon, but it's also a term for Old Nick and a few other friendly supernaturals. Iblis, in a few other languages has to do with plants and nature, typically trees. Sometimes nature spirits. u v u

So what if you have a reaper who is tall, awkwardly skinny and long, with a large shadow that stretches far along the walls and streets behind him. It's fat with large, creepy fingers that look like they could jump out and take your soul from your skin. And it always, always gives you the feeling that something terrible is about to occur. This is what you tell your husbands to keep them from lingering at work or staying out too late each night. Because this is something that, while they will deny it to keep appearances, truly scares them. The grasp of the reaper.

An antisocial spirit that stands in the corner even during meetings of his own kind... Iblis treats even the lead reaper with disrespect if he gets too close. He's prone to holding things over the heads of others, keeping them from having what they seek. And also stepping on toes, both literally and figuratively.

But Iblis does love his little black rat, and you tend to find there are leaves stuck to him somehow, a reminder of his play time in the forests. The green haired reaper prefers the spirits of animals because they are easier to soothe and certainly more enjoyable to be around than the angry and frightened souls of people. Though, he does not mind the innocent children who somehow, deep in their hearts, understand him. In return for their cooperation, Iblis is gentle and kind towards them, even bending down to hold their hand if need be.

Though his hobbies are few and far in between, he likes to dance and sing... and take naps that he doesn't even need. Anything to play hooky on days where he knows his list is long and full of people he does not look forward to meeting.

Also, watch out. He bites.
