This here is my very first piece of glitch art, generated using the Wordpad method on an interleaved bitmap.

It's not as colorful as I wanted it to turn out. The reason for its murky grey portions is due to the fact that the image (which was a bitmap) is interleaved (as are all bitmaps). Intereaving has to do with the way a file handles the color data. Therefore, when such an image is corrupted, we get dark areas in the final result. For the really colorful stuff, we need to corrupt a non-interleaved file. That's when the pretty pictures come about!
