As for the picture, if we say your foot plus what's shown of your leg is about 500 meters tall (~1333 ft) (this is assuming the mountains you're walking among ~X km to the peak) then those trees are about 50 meters tall, those would be huge trees!. Normally, we're used to seeing trees that are just about 10-20 meters tall (33-66 ft)
Or according to this paper for a pine forest planted in Chile, average 26 meters (~50 ft)

Then again you can interpret the size of these mountains as very relative and all that, but remember, I need excuses to make you look bigger!, plus that river we put as reference definitely shows those mountains are really big and you're even bigger!, more the reason to shrink the trees here to half their size, maybe even smaller!.
