I used scissors to cut the lens down to size and it fit in just fine. Under most conditions it's just a glint under the brows, but I'll probably do something a little more to make it less transparent.
I'm wondering if a multi-layer eye might help with fogging in the same way that multi-pane windows do. I could put another layer of flat plastic behind the curved, and the insulting section between the two could keep the temperature differentials lower...or it could trap moisture somewhere that it couldn't be reached. Hmm.
Fadey helped me with fitting and I ended up having to rip some of the seams on the chest since it was bunching up. I didn't have to go to the point where it can be seen, though, so no harm done!
The back of the head needs a little padding out. It's so huge on the front that it looks odd if it ends where the back of the wearer's human head is. I left space in the back, though, so it shouldn't be a problem.
I tore apart the house looking for the back of the mask, the part that holds it on the face, and I couldn't find it. So I ordered another one. Once that comes in we'll see how much foam or whatever needs to be added over it.
