No pretense or illusion as to what this bike is built for, is there?

Usually an extended swing arm is for drifting or drag racing. But based on the look and length, I'd say it's just for show on this one. And it's a Suzuki gexr haha. Can't forget that little "r".

The longer rear swing arm is so it don't pop up as easy. Also tends to handle better on the highway.

Makes sense. As many times as I have seen people popping wheelies on the highway with their crotch rockets I can see them doing this to help resist the temptation.

That bike is completely unable to corner, and is only made to go fast in a straight line. Probably corners WORSE than a full dress harley.

A sportbike is made to handle, and a swingarm like that is just ruining that capacity.

That bike is probably owned by an overblown douche who thinks it's cool that he can pin the throttle and do 120mph in less than 10 seconds. Thinks it makes him a man to have enough money to afford that.

The sort of person I dusted in a twisty road on my old 81 GS250. A GS250 that regularly saw the foot pegs rubbing the pavement. (Well, the feelers I put about an inch out from the foot pegs. The accursed thing had suicide pegs, so I didn't want to risk a lowside. But still. If you don't like to lean, you should be in a cage.)

well it looks like a drag bike to me he probably races it on a strip and brought it there to show it off like people do there drag cars doesn't make them douches

It's not a serious drag bike, because he took the time and money to fabricate a tail that stretches the rear bodywork over the rear tire, as well as fabricate the chain cover for the extended swingarm. No serious drag racer would add that much weight. Not only that, but serious drag racers don't add the weight of an extended swingarm. They keep from doing wheelies at launch by installing a very light weight wheelie bar.


No, this is not somebody who goes to the local drag strip to lay down the best 1/4 mile and get to the top of the bracket. This is some overconfident jerk concerned with looking "good" at shows and drag racing on the STREET.

having a longer swing arm lets you take off quicker with a less of a chance of flipping back and its a GSXR X3
