Tablet Practice 4 (Part 5 [FINAL] - Shading)
ARTISTS: BE BRUTALLY HONEST

For the grande finale, I apply some shading. This was sort of a lame, awkward attempt at doing shading this time around as everything was on one layer, so I couldn't be free-flowing with multiple multiply layers like before. I had to be extremely careful. As far as how the shading job looks, It's not bad of a job again despite my obstacles.
I don't know how other furry artists can pull off the 3/4 view with furries so easily (I know I've said that dozens of time already), but I get the feeling that it takes a long time to make it all work properly. I guess I gotta be a bit more patient and experiment. At least my tapering wasn't bad once more. I feel a bit okay with how he turned out in such a difficult-to-draw but natural view. Perhaps the muzzle and chin lines are off, but I don't draw them often in such a view. Maybe next time, I should consider lighting/highlighting as well as the Clipping Mask.

Good work!
I really liked how you were able to show the length of the muzzle by adding a line near his left eye, but not a full bold line to his nose, if that makes sense :P
Another thing I think is great is that you are keeping to your characters feature's (such as his hair).
I suggest that the next time you draw, you should add a bit more texture (as in fur/lines). Not so much that it is crowded, but enough that it adds to the character.
Also, I would try and extend the character's body down to his navel/torso to see what you can do/improve on. ^.^
It is rather expected that new things (such as the 3/4 view) will a bit difficult for a first try. But keep at it! Time is not a big factor. Understanding and practice is.
