Well I finally decided to try spinning fire... It was Saturday night at a party when another friend of mine broke out his fire staff and had a set of fire poi with him. So... after a little being goaded by him and someone else I met at the party (after helping give his girlfriend some poi lessons). Since the poi weren't "custom" for my arm length I kept it to some very basic tricks, but I was so very pleased with myself for "graduating" to spinning fire. I knew I could do it, just hadn't yet... I now totally understand the allure of fire, and will probably be spinning more with it in the near future... I do have a few other pics, but this is one of the most spectacular of the bunch and I wanted to share it with you all!
