I know it was a long time coming, but this little fairy took a lot of time to design and stitch (Two wings and a body to fit together!).
The wings are attached at the top of the body piece, and light fishing line suspends the fairy with open wings from the room ceiling; I tried to pose the completed structure against a piece of white cardboard, but interior lighting made it rather yellow (sorry about that)
I included the scans of the original stitched pieces (only one of the wings) so you could see the detail.
