This is it.
This is how the whole shebang started.
While I'd created Tali in 1988 or so for the "Galaxy Local 999" storyboard on the late, lamented Electric Holt BBS, I'd only a vague idea of how she looked...
Until
Karno turned his genius loose on her.
When I opened the envelope from Tucson in 1991, I immediately fell in love.
And sixteen years, six issues of TaliVisions and umpteen dozen illos later, so have a lotta other folks.
In fact, this is why I started TaliVisions: This image was too good not to share.
And that's why I'm sharing it with you now... :)
When I shared the original image with the SubGenius mailing list, they (quite reasonably) pointed out that the Major was missing something in order to fit in with the J.R. "Bob" Dobbs image...
To think is to act, and so a pipe was added toute suite. Praise "Bob"!
