its realy the blenging of the shadows that get me frustrated...
i can draw the shadows and shade them in by hand but i cant make it look right when i color it on the comp...

well when I shade in Photoshop I use the soft paintbrush tool and then sit the opacity to about 25% then I start shading I use a barker color of the color I'm shading like the wolf fur color and I also use black for the barker shade of the pic, as for highlighting is the same thing just with lighter color and white. hope this help you.
