For that to be true he would have had to do all the Art, all the Voice Acting, and all the Music, which he didn't do.

which is true for the voice acting and the music but the art was all his took him like i think 4 years

He would've also had to do all the coding too.

...which he might have. I think that is the official story, anyway. One can never tell on the internet.

Anyway, finally got a chance to play this game myself, thanks to the excellent PC port that came out this year. Quite awesome.

It's entirely doable. Cave Story comes to mind (2D, though). My brother used to do solo level-editing. He made textures, objects, maps(physical layout of level), lighting/shading, and scripts (game logic). He didn't do the engines & of course reused the host game's resources as it was for mods although a couple were pretty much full conversions to original games(although 2 were blatantly inspired by Platoon & Jurassic Park). He worked with teams & they had other members that dealt with sounds & such. They tended to share playtesting/gamebreaking duties. Was a fun time in gaming!
