Oooo this is coming along nicely. And I'd agree with Dr. Kitsune. Looking up her actual parentage might help shed some light on these dreams. I'd say probably a bit of memory with the mind filling in the gaps. These dreams or memories might differ a good deal from reality. Our memory isn't static. It changes with time. You learn more and apply more knowledge of today to your memories subtly changing them with time. Your own experiences afterward color them so that what you remember and reality may only be superficially similar.

At any rate I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this. ^^

Easy, Doc. While I understand the point you're trying to make, you really should try to phase that a bit more sensitively. Right now, calling her brothers "just figments of her imagination" sounds a little overly dismissive.

Poor Gemma! Is everything she's experienced just a dream? But some of it seemed so real -- both really positive and really scary negative! What's real and what's not? Well ... when she's awake everything's real. Probably. :)
